Merry merry Non Christmas

Resulta un poco raro colgar este dibu en marzo, ¿verdad? Será que mis impulsos de dibujar a mis personajillos no entienden de épocas del año...

En cualquier caso, aquí dos personajes de Furry Sugary Town: Rodney Jinglebells y mi muy personal versión de Rudolph. Sí, estos también están basados en diseños de Pet Society; pero no, no son las mascotas de nadie. Ambos son personajes creados especialmente para mi novela.

Pequeña explicación: en mi historia, los renos navideños no son animales de cuatro patas, sino tipos antropomórficos que trabajan como elegantes lacayos y remolcan el trineo montados en flamantes bicicletas voladoras. Sin embargo, lo cierto es que Rolphie tiene el alma rota por dentro. Rodney es un personaje más navideño: siempre dulce, cariñoso, con un corazón inmenso y (demasiado) cargado de esperanzas. Trabaja como ayudante de Santa Claus; es dos cuartos zorrillo ártico, un cuarto elfo y un cuarto Grinch XD. Y en esta escena está a punto de ser traicionado por el reno, aunque todavía no lo sabe...

It’s kind of weird to post this christmasy stuff in March, ¿isn’t it?

Btw... meet two more characters from my (I hope XD) future novel, Furry Sugary Town: Rodney Jinglebells and my personal version of Rudolph. Yes, the character designs are mainly Pet Society based; but no, they are not anyone’s pets. They were created especially for my novel.

Just a little explanation: in my story, Christmas reindeer are not simple four legged animals; they’re anthro men and women who work as elegant lackeys, pulling the sleigh with their brilliant bikes. However, Rolphie is actually broken in the inside. Rodney is, in fact, more of a Christmas character: sweet, affectionate, big hearted and (too much) full of hope. He works as a Santa’s helper; he’s two quarters an arctic fox, one quarter an elf and one quarter a Grinch XD. In this scene he’s about to be treasoned by the reindeer, but he still doesn’t know...
